Halloween Candy

Halloween is a favorite holiday of mine. Today is my son's  birthday and we always have a fun birthday party. Now is a good time to remind you that Halloween candy is not safe for your dog. Chocolate is very bad for dogs and so is sugar free candy/gum, raisins and macadamia nuts. Don't forget that the wrappers can cause choking or intestinal blockage so keep the candy out of your pup's reach. Should your dog eat any Halloween goodies contact your vet quickly and try to have an idea of what and how much was consumed. Happy Halloween!
